Welcome to the latest Fireside Monthly Update - where we take a moment to look back on the last few weeks, share some news, and connect with our community. As quickly as it came, the warm summer months have come to an end and have ushered in the start of the BEAUTIFUL fall season here in New Hampshire. Is it just us or did summer fly by this year? Then again, it was raining for half of the season.
As the days grow shorter and colder, we're looking ahead at the busy months to come and how we're locking in to make sure our customers are staying warm all winter long. We're predicting that this winter will be especially cold and snowy, so we've got all hands on deck in making sure the North Country is ready! Do you think we'll set some records this year? Only time will tell!
But for the time being, it's fall, and the leaves are starting to change. If you haven't taken in the sights of New Hampshire and Vermont during peak foliage, we HIGHLY recommend getting out there and taking a look! If you're looking for our favorite spots, we recommend Franconia Notch and the Kancamagus Highway - even a simple drive through either location will guarantee jaw-dropping sights. Take our word for it!

What's New At Fireside?
Our on-the-road teams and the home team have been keeping busy making sure the North Country is warm and ready for winter, and if you haven't scheduled your sweep or gotten in touch for a new stove or fireplace you want, we strongly recommend doing so! At the time of this blog's posting, for chimney sweeps, we're booked out into early January, and for installations, we're booked out into late December! Now is a great time to get in touch before we're booked out to the end of winter!
We promised some pictures of the newly-renovated conference room that now occupies the second half of our building in the last monthly update - we didn't forget! While we're still adding some finishing touches, we've made some excellent progress in the last four months alone! It wasn't long ago when the only thing in there was a small wooden table and a few chairs. Take a look!
That's not all: this month... Fireside Hearth & Leisure turned 20 YEARS OLD! We've come a long way since we were a small shop in Woodsville (formerly named Woodsville Stove Shop!) back in 2003, and we're eternally grateful for the journey so far. Take it from us: we aren't going anywhere, and we always promise to give you the best experience from start to finish, always. We'd like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our customers throughout the years. Whether you've been with us for two decades or have only walked in once for some glass cleaner (at that point you're probably not reading this, right?), we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and business.
What's Next At Fireside?
At Fireside, we've got a lot planned for the months ahead! A lot of our time and resources are being allocated to keeping our customers and community warm, but that doesn't mean we've got other plans in the works! We've got another website update in the works that adds some helpful new pages and additional information - namely, a page to meet our team! We've got an awesome crew working with us, and we're excited to get to showcase the team with you. Stay tuned, we'll have more info over on our Facebook page when the update goes live!
We're consistently updating our showroom with some new stoves and fireplace inserts, so feel free to stop by and take a look at what's new each month! As for what else is next, we're focusing primarily on making sure our customers are ready for the cold winter months, so we don't want to get into specifics and give a bunch of business jargon here, so we'll keep it brief: it's all hands on deck - and this may be our busiest year yet!

In terms of new industry news, there isn't much worth sharing in the monthly update that would be relevant or interesting to read for our audience, so we'll keep this part brief as well. Expect this section to be longer during the winter months, however!
